Important news about Ali
As I type this Ali is undergoing surgery at Manchester Royal Infirmary. Yesterday she told me that, due to continued health issues, she would have to take an indefinite leave of absence from performing with the Bedlam Six.
I’m sure you will join us in wishing her a speedy recovery. Any messages sent to her through the website contact section will be forwarded on immediately.
I will be visiting her on Friday to see how things are progressing and will post any relevant updates here. I’ll also deliver to Ali any messages you’d like to send me via facebook, twitter or the label.
At this time I can confirm that all Spring tour dates will be performed as a six-piece (with local guest vocalists where possible).
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Hopefully today’s operation will be the start of a lasting recovery and an end to the uncertainty that Ali lived with throughout 2011.
